Welcome to Our EV Life! We are a family of four living in metro Detroit.

I grew up in and around all things cars. My parents worked in the auto industry and my college internships had some involvement with cars. After spending 20 years in Chicago and Chicagoland, we relocated to Michigan. We are avid fans of public transportation, walking and being as efficient as possible with our energy use.

Our EV journey started in the summer of 2021, with the 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV, which was also part of the battery recall. As of this writing, we are still waiting for General Motors to replace our battery. Current charging level is at 80%.

This site was put together to be a one-stop place for anyone interested in getting an EV. From charging to traveling to utilities, we aim to make EV use as easy and uncomplicated as possible.
